The Project consists of granted tenements E46/712 and E52/1939 covering approximately 170 square kilometres in the iron rich Hammersley Basin, approximately 80 kilometres east of Newman.
Initial work undertaken by Brumby focused on the use of Landsat imaging to define potential Channel Irons Deposits (CIDs) over the tenement areas. The Landsat assessment indicated approximately 8 kilometres of potential CIDs targets on licence E46/712 that could be derived from the nearby Brockman Iron Formation. Refer to Figure.
An air core drilling programme will test the potential CID targets once statutory approvals have been obtained. Brumby is currently in the process of coordinating the heritage survey ready for the submission of the programme if works approval documentation.
